PISTONS are manufactured in a new alloy of exceptional wear resistance and strength at working temperatures. The high conductivity of this material promotes cool running and the light but robust design ensures efficient operation over extended periods. Resistance to wear ring grooves, skirt, and gudgeon pin hole is greatly increased. To ensure dimensional stability in service, all alloy piston castings are correctly heat treated and aged.
